A large yet cozy, bright, and friendly vacation apartment with the nicest hosts ever. Plus, the gorgeous garden with 11 friendly, wonderful cats, the large livestock guardian dog Nele, the ducks and water hens, countless songbirds, and the chickens that provided the most delicious eggs ever in the morning. A wonderful setting and only 10 minutes from the dike. A wonderful evening stroll every day. We've been there twice and will be going back next year because this wonderful vacation apartment is simply the ideal starting point for many visits near and far ?. These were truly the most wonderful weeks last year and this year. Even if we didn't go anywhere, every day in this wonderful garden was pure relaxation – we highly recommend this host couple and the apartment ❤️‍?❤️‍?❤️‍?❤️‍?

Family-friendly mudflat hike – educational, fun, and unforgettable! The mudflat hike with Nils and his wife was a highlight of our vacation. Instead of the booked 90 minutes, Nils took as much time as the children had questions. He explained the fascinating flora and fauna of the Wadden Sea in a child-friendly, engaging, and humorous way – including some funny interludes that delighted young and old alike. A definite recommendation for families who want to experience nature up close!

A complete success! Really great service, starting from the very first encounter. You're greeted warmly as soon as you walk in, and there's even a funny saying. You immediately feel at home here. Although the restaurant was really well-dressed yesterday, the waitress (possibly the owner) was keen to make everyone feel comfortable. The food arrived quite warmly and was of high quality. The food is still freshly cooked here! Delicious fish dishes, great fried potatoes, and a schnitzel that you can't make better at home. Freshly prepared and straight from the pan! A small salad with the fish and delicious bacon-wrapped beans rounded it all off. Highly recommended if you're ever in Tossens. We'll definitely be back!
