Villa Divi Divi was a great stay. I went on a group trip with 6 women for 6 days and 5 nights. The villa was exactly as described and the Blue Bay Resort is very safe and clean overall. Great beach and restaurants. The location is a short drive to the grocery store, airport and gas stations. We also rented a car from Remy with BB Autoverhuur. He was incredibly easy to work with. He picked up our crew from the airport and dropped us off. We rented a 6 passenger vehicle at a great price. Tips: please bring lots of sunscreen if you are not used to the heat and sun. The Caribbean sun hits different so take plenty of sunscreen! The mosquitoes on the island are brutal. We called them creepy because we never saw them but we were definitely getting ate up. Be ware of sand fleas too. Take bug spray with deet. This is not a con of the house, it’s just critters that are there. The villa and the host were great! We lo forward to going back.
Ferienwohnung Gecko
Magical and magnificent place with a splendid view of the Caribbean Sea, from the terrace, the swimming pool or the jacuzzi.....a real treat for the whole family. This villa is quiet, surrounded by vegetation, with sometimes Mr. "Jack" the iguana who comes to visit us on the bougainvillea hedge....an enchanted break for the whole family. Brigitte welcomed us very warmly with all the love she has for these magnificent places. We were treated to lots of attention.... our first local aperitif, on this beautiful, spacious terrace, with table and outdoor seating area. Very well located, because in the middle of this leeward coast, to visit the north of Deshaies and its magnificent beaches, and paths which border the sea, pools and paths in the forest, and just below the Cousteau reserve, and the Pigeon Islands to admire fish, turtles...in kayaking, snorkeling or accompanied diving....a real treat ?? We leave with eyes full of glitter, and will return to this corner of paradise
