This museum is such a gem in Venice. Housed in Peggy Guggenheim’s former home right on the Grand Canal, it offers an incredible journey through modern art. Peggy herself was a fascinating figure — she lived here, surrounded by her collection, and was married to the surrealist Max Ernst while also supporting artists like Jackson Pollock and Magritte. The collection is outstanding: cubism, surrealism, abstract expressionism… with works by Picasso, Ernst, Pollock, Magritte, Dalí, and many more. What’s amazing is not just the quality of the art, but also how intimate the space feels — you really sense Peggy’s life and passion behind every piece. Definitely a must-see for art lovers in Venice

Great place to stay! Very clean, very comfortable sofas, pillows and mattress. The place is spacious and has all the amenities needed! The hosts where more than helpful, efficient and very friendly! The place is central and everything you need is close to you! Next to piazza San Marco! Loved it and for sure I will book the same apartment whenever I visit Venice again. I recommend it 100%!
