Hof Gauster is a great place for a family farm holiday. There are dairy cows, ponies, horses, rabbits, and chickens. Children can help with many things on the farm: milking, mucking out the stables, feeding the ponies and horses, building new fences, and driving the tractor. Of course, the ponies could be ridden or led. The area around the farm is pleasantly quiet, and many excursion destinations (suitable for families) are about 30 minutes away. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

We spent two weeks at the riding stables and were absolutely thrilled...great apartment, seating areas everywhere outside in the greenery and the best part is the riding, competent riding lessons on really well-trained horses...we learned a lot and the rides were a dream...we felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!!!
